The CEI-710 is an intelligent, high-density, Type II PC card (PCMCIA) interface that provides up to 12 fully independent ARINC429/575 channels, along with up to 2 pairs of avionics-level I/O discretes. Includes programmable data rates and parity, error detection, multiple buffering modes, time tagging, and automatic slew rate adjustment. The unique, flexible design of the CEI-710 provides a powerful hardware foundation that supports multiple avionic protocols in a single, integrated, portable package (ARINC429/575 and ARINC573/717, CSDB and ARINC561 6-wire). Polled and interrupt- driven operations are available. Input discretes support TTL to avionics levels, while open-collector output discretes add application flexibility.
